If you take international trips, please get at least medical / evac coverage. Getting sick and injured people home is what I do and I cannot tell you how often evacs have been delayed because the family is having a church fundraiser/ pulling from their 401k / having a bake sale to pay for the evac. Insurance or a membership with Global Rescue, MedJet Assist or Ripcord is relatively cheap compared to the approximately $10k per loaded flight hour we charge to bring you home.
