At the time (around November 2021), both SQ and SG Embassy said this was not allowed and I would need to buy a single ticket from MLE to SFO. I took their word at face value and ended up booking a single ticket from MLE-->SIN-->SFO on SQ with like a 10 hour layover in SIN.

Just verifying this group, if we're transiting only via SIN on a VTL (MLE --> SIN), we can present an ART result and we can freely move around the airport right? We are not planning to leave Changi. Are the airport lounges open? Specifically is the SQ lounge open with showers?
