KE cabins are too hot for some.

FAs serve very small amounts of wine at a time.

Some aircraft are 2-3-2 in business class and some don't have fully flat beds, just seats that really recline a lot (A380 IIRC).

KE saves the best (business class) seats for their own elites; be prepared to be moved by KE to the worst seat in the cabin if the flight is full.
Did JFK - ICN (via KE on F) and did ICN - ATL- EWR in D1. The major difference:
  • Service: I do believe that the service in F especially for male customers via female attendants are much better/attentive (my wife hates it). Also even though I'm 2nd generation Korean American - its just easier for Koreans to just understand Koreans via either gesture/language and others. The D1 back from ICN - ATL (it was a flight on Jan 2nd) so the mood was quite fun - drinks with flight attendants to celebrate new year and it was much collegiate atmosphere (that doesn't mean that the service wasn't attentive)
  • Seats: Fair enough one was F and the other one was J but I do love D1 Suite due to the privacy but the seat is quite tight when you lay down (I'm 176cm and about 80kg) but the Korean J/F seats are much more spacious and comfortable (if you do the J its 2 - 2 - 2 so there is less privacy)
  • Food: I'm not a huge fan of meals on airplane - the altitude just makes food taste bland and ugh. But I believe that Korean food holds up very nicely due to the spiciness and strong taste/flavor. It may be due to outstation/catering but the banchan in Korean air just tastes better... the kimchee/side dishes/the soup. They can cater as well.. on JFK to ICN on F, my mom packed me some food and they reheated it for be and served it on a plate.
I don't think you can go wrong but I would mix up the experience since the ICN-BKK will be on KE. But go with the timing and routing that works best for you!
