On a side note, FCL in ZRH A terminal was very busy when I got there from my Nice flight (only bar seating available). It calmed down during my lengthy layover, but still a far cry from the FCT which LH has had open for months now in FRA.

I picked the LX routing as the departure time from Nice was much more convenient, and I would usually rather arrive to my destination midday than early in the morning. If I had it to do over, though, I’d take the LH even if it had meant a very long wait in FRA but at least with the comfort of FCT.
