Possibly, but this was a Chase Freedom Unlimited. I've used my Chase Sapphire Reserve on TfL as recently late November. I haven't used the Chase Freedom Unlimited because of its 3% FTF.

I definitely see it more when customers are presenting their own cards. How many transactions are still at restaurants, bars, or places where a waiter or cashier takes the payment card on behalf of the customer? For drive thrus, I see about 20-25% of cashiers tapping the card. (All places I've visited recently now are handling cards again at this point.)
