How to contact Aadvantage?
Like everyone, I’m having trouble getting my non-airline partner miles to post. I'm gone thru the regular channels (simplymiles/shopping) and want to talk to the loyalty people without emailing upper management.
I'd understand if Aadvantage doesn't have an email address (no one does anymore). But they don't even have a webform to fill out. If I go to the Contact American at aa.com/contact/forms and select Topic: Aadvantage, none of the Subject options (including Mileage credit) allow me to message them. I've even found kafkaesque loops. E.g. Topic: Aadvantage -> Subject: Other -> AAdvantage FAQs -> Contact AAdvantage -> Email AAdvantage® account service -> Topic: Aadvantage... This is ridiculous!
I did find that Customer Relations -> Complaint -> Other -> Next will open up the form. I'd shouldn't take a PhD to email an airline.
So how do you guys contact AAdvantage? Am I missing something obvious here? And what do you do when the CSRs turn you down? Would be nice to have a flowchart for how to handle missing LPs. E.g. contact SM twice, then escalate to x, then escalate to y, then do a chargeback, etc.
