Google's Android was really slow back then and required fast hardware to run well. It appeared that Nokia tried to optimize logistics and bill-of-materials costs before everything else. They might have skipped Android based on requiring faster hardware. I think the lesson here is not to let lawyers and bean counters to run technology companies.
