Great read on what happened to Blackberry as well. One take away I remember from reading this is that RIM was begging ATT for more bandwidth and not making progress, and Apple came out with an iPhone and ATT was like “you can have all the bandwidth “

Yeah, when talking about flameouts in the mobile phone business you have to include Blackberry along with Nokia. I don’t recall Motorola being quite as dominant. Apple and Google, a year or two later, destroyed them all.
