Correct, it's Chase who advise BA you've spent 30K and have earned a voucher, not BA calculating it from Avios received.

If you're getting different amounts of Avios from those on your Chase statements, see if they're split into more than one transaction? The bonus categories appear this way for me (e.g. 2x Avios on hotels). If that's not it, and it really just is the 1x spending that's not crediting properly, raise it with Chase.

BA simply go by the data Chase gives them.
