My first time in Paris I stayed at a Best Western!

although not a big chain, I spent several days at the Slate Creek Inn in Coldfoot, Alaska. It is on the Dalton Highway well above the Arctic Circle, and the lot is full of trucks carrying stuff to the North Slope oil fields. It was featured on the Ice Road Truckers show….
