I'd be pretty unhappy about that. Most of the properties where they don't have in room at least have a set-up in the lobby starting 5 am or earlier.
Come to think of it, the Beekman (another Thompson) in NYC also don't have in room coffee makers. They only set up the coffee station at 7am too (which I agree is far too late).
