I had this issue with Lloyds bank. Kept on getting missed calls from a mobile number claiming to be Lloyds - eventually, I called the number on the back of my bank card to figure out what's going on. They took the mobile number from me, and to my surprise, they confirmed the calls were genuine! Of course, it transpired they were trying to sell me something...
