If you're concerned about foul play, hotel rooms are probably not the place for you as there are many ways that a hotel room could be "compromised."

Overall, you seem like you really want to stay with Hilton and are finding ridiculous points of criticism - no one is forcing you to stay with Hyatt or the Thompson Chicago. If it makes you that unhappy, then don't stay. You don't see me going to the Hilton forum and criticizing their lack of a breakfast benefit or lack of guaranteed late check-out for top elites.
Trolling or simply stating the obvious cons ? You know lucky didn't give a good review on this property neither.

What and where are the most properties ? As far as I know, only these 4 Hyatt properties charge a destination fee out of 100+ hotels in the entire Chicago area, hotel Lincoln, Chicago athletic association, ambassador Chicago, and Thompson Chicago. And all but Thompson have in room coffee makers or available on request.

And what most luxury properties ONLY offer coffee in the lobby but not have coffee makers at least on request ? In the case with Thompson Chicago, no they are not available on request, no they don't have coffee 24/7 in the lobby, it is only available from 7am-10am AND not to mention it is a weekday !!! No you can't even get a cup of coffee if you wake up before 7am or get one before you go to work.

What kind of hotels don't serve coffee / breakfast not til 7am on a weekday you tell me ???

I don't see any of these issues ridiculous for a full service luxury hotel at all, unless you really have low standard of what's luxury to you. I am just stating the obvious
