Getting the Hertz Gold number onto the reservation seems to be a recurring problem. I am using Autoslash to track reservation, then when they send a notice of a cheaper rate, I go through the email link and rebook through Priceline. I try to add my Hertz Gold number in one of the Priceline screens (for hertz awards ??) but it no longer returns the reservation flagged as a "Gold" reservation, and I seem to not be able to retrieve the reservation when I am logged into my Hertz account, only if logging into the Hertz account as a guest. Am I overlooking something in the Priceline booking process that fails to get my Gold number included? The only reason I am using Hertz is to bypass the counter (with Gold, etc.) and if that is not available, then the Autoslash option does not work well for me.
