I had the Amex Aeroplan card until September 2021. I got the Buddy Pass and exchanged it for 30,000 Aeroplan points.

Now i'm thinking about applying for the Amex Aeroplan Reserve card and I'm wondering if I'll be eligible for another bonus and buddy pass.

The Terms & Conditions appear to indicate that I would since the Reserve card is a different card. They state "These offers are only available to new American Express®* Aeroplan® Reserve Cardmembers (‘Cardmembers’). For current or former American Express®* Aeroplan® Reserve Cardmembers, we may approve your application, but you will not be eligible for these offers." [highlighting mine] and "You will not be eligible for the Buddy Pass if you have previously opened an Aeroplan credit or charge card of the same type, regardless of the credit or charge card issuer and have received the Welcome Bonus offer of a bonus Buddy Pass in the last 12 months." [highlighting mine]

It appears to be clearly defined that I would get the bonus and buddy pass but I am hoping that someone can confirm one way or the other.
