You can avail yourself of the service on non domestic flights to most destinations but if you try to order on a Dublin Flight it comes up as "restricted item"
As we are out of the EU you can buy them at the Airport when travelling to Ireland but they are much cheaper via BA Highlife Shop ( when you can get them !!)
I haven't had the pleasure on a DUB flight. I'm guessing as this is defined as an Express band flight in terms of service (same as CDG/AMS/BRU/JER) that these would be specifically excluded from Highlife Shop purchases due to the short flight times.
In the past GVA/ZRH have always been successful for me as a ciggie run destination. Great way to spend a few Avios on a RFS and a few hours or the day if preferred. GVA for example works particularly well as a back to back ciggie run... you don't even need to clear passport/security and you can walk back into departures within 2-3 minutes of deplaning ready to catch the same flight back to London. My advice is to always take at least the following flight back then in the event the items aren't loaded for at seat delivery you've got time to go to the duty free shop - GVA prices are in line with BA HighLife shop prices and not marked up extortionately in the way Heathrow choose to do... the difference in price justifies the RFS fee.
