Actually for some specific routes it doesnt. When you try to book Brazil-London the flights are shown for example £8 taxes on the first page and when you click continue the price is £163.

The first price is the right one.

I have no idea how BA is able to keep doing that and charging people £150+ more when you book it online instead over the phone. No idea why a goverment body has not looked into this.
