Is there any news on the FTVs including Companion Vouchers being refunded (earlier in thread)? As if the one tied up in the FTV was returned we could each make a booking with a child as a companion.
If you had not already used the voucher that's in the FTV, when would it have expired? If it could still be used for the new booking you want to make, you could just voluntary cancel the FTV for a refund, which would return the voucher to you and leave you free to book with a different companion.
The other question is how old the children are, and whether you intend all to fly together in economy. If your intention was that the children fly in economy while you fly in a higher cabin, but doing this by booking one adult and one child on each voucher and swapping seats on board, I wonder whether cabin crew would allow the swap if it basically leaves two UMs in the economy cabin who would not be accepted for travel if booked like that.
