On aa.com my EXP status says it expires on Jan 31, 2023 and today I received my new card showing a Jan 31, 2023 expiration (and luggage tags - whoo-hoo!!).

This seems at odds with the shift to March as the year-end and it would seem to leave a potential gap (I guess with the double-dipping now, I actually have 13 months to qualify and avoid a gap). But it seems odd (messy) to me.

I qualified by the $2000 EQD promotion, which maybe simply extended my EXP status by 12 months, rather than extending it through the next status year.

Or is it just a mistake in the IT systems?
