Are there certain American Airlines routes that Alaska Airlines miles cannot be used for? Like I was looking at flying from LAX to TLV with Alaska Miles, but I never see an American Airlines option even though American Airlines flies there from JFK,MIA and DFW, why is it that this doesn’t seem bookable with miles ever? Speaking of this LAX to TLV route, Will you ever be able to use Alaska Airlines miles to book on their partner El Al Airlines (which is the only airline to have this direct flight)?
