If I am flying, I would need to know 100% that I would be going business as I would be flying in and out and would not be able to do that if I'm in coach. And it's not a required flight, it would be to visit family.

I do have the palladium/reserve cards, so I would be getting the 1.5 cents. With that being said, what would be the best way? Transferring to Lufthansa or using it via chase?

I just looked at a roundtrip business class ticket in 1.5 months from now. The total was just under $1100. So that equals to be 73K points. But straight points from United was between 53k-60k points.
