I never book that far in advance, so others may have more experience on this. I noticed as of today 12/25 is at the very edge of the schedule. I recall others discussing the lack of fare class availability at the edge of the schedule which is, 330 days from now. 12/25 currently is showing Y/J. If I look a week prior to 12/18 there is U space availability and lower fare class availability. I would keep an eye on it in a week and see if any lower fare classes become available and perhaps additionally that golden U space.

U space opened up today. Got the UF notification this morning in my wake-up round of e-mail. called AS and got the upgrade. I guess this is what happens when you live on the edge of the space/time continuum. Even they were confused as to why it didn't auto-upgrade. It took them 10-15 minutes to get it through.
