So I am asking the commentariat at large the following. Do you feel $100 per hour in a lie flat Q Suite J seat for a flight > 10 hours is worth it. That seems to be a general gauge as to if you are getting a reasonable offer. I am already in J DFW-DOH-BKK but using a flight voucher from 2020 when you could make this trip roundtrip all day long for under 4k. With almost universal adoption of Q Suites on these routes those sub 4k J fares are a distant memory and 5k seems the new norm. My partner wanted to get on this same flight so she went Economy and hoping to get at least the DFW-DOH leg in J for ~1600. I would feel like a complete heel if she is sitting behind me on the same flight but 100 dollars per flight hour I think is my limit. Now just waiting for the email as we are T-23 days
UPDATE this morning t-5 went into the manage your booking portal (No email received yet) and saw that upgrade option was available offering DFW-DOH for $936 which I accepted for my partner so we can travel in same cabin. Upgrade still not available DOH-BKK but hopeful as loads to Thailand should (?) be lighter than USA to Middle East (Dallas has a very large Indian community)
