And because I know somebody is going to ask, yes - the purchase summary showed U space available. It literally instantaneously went from U space on all flights that day (12/25) at the time of purchase to zeroed out U space for the entire day. I called AS today, and as one would expect they were like "so sad, too bad, get over it". Will contacting Customer Support help me in any way, or am I just getting spun up with no chance of resolution in my favor?
It’s purely speculation, but you may have simply been unlucky in the timing where it was available, but by the time the ticket was purchased it was no longer available.

One would assume that a good system would hold X U spaces for a ticket once the pax hits purchase; however I doubt AS IT is that well implemented.

You could always try CC, but I don’t think they would be able to open U space for you.

If you’d like, I can setup an EF alert for your flight. DM me.
