LX92 to EZE via GRU… stay on plane (in F) or disembark in GRU?
Hi more seasoned Swiss travellers than I am… I’ll be flying Swiss F NCE to ZRH to EZE next week, which I’m aware has a stop in GRU. I’ve actually flown the GRU-EZE-GRU segments before with LX in F, and quite enjoyed that short flight with them.
Biggest thing I wonder right now is if I can stay onboard in GRU or need to get off… when I used to fly BA247 with the stop in GRU we always stayed onboard. But that was over 10 years ago. And I’m not sure if everyone stayed onboard, or if it was just F and J who stayed onboard then (I’ve been on other flights where during the technical stop they only make Y get off).
If I do need to disembark, does anyone know if the lounge is up and running again yet? Around two months ago it was closed and LX hadn’t even bothered to try and contract with another lounge such as LATAM for it’s F pax.
Finally questions which can probably be answered by someone kindly pointing me to the right thread, is what I can expect from LX First, particularly with regards to ground services, connections… NCE-ZRH will be in C on their A220, then I’ll have a rather long time in ZRH to connect fo the LX92 in F. I’m quite familiar with LH, BA, EK, and long ago SQ, NH and UA (back when they had it) in F, but this will be my first long haul with LX in F. I think from reading they have a FCT sort of like LH has in FRA… is that right?
