That's clearly a Unix timestamp of 0 UTC.

I would assume when they debit, it's "take this many credits that expire on or after date X", so when they're expiring stuff, rather than doing it a bit more sensibly, they fetch the number due to expire, and then do the "expire X credits after timestamp 0".
