The former Grand Hyatt NYC — the Grand at Grand Central now — has a lot of rooms that can easily accommodate four people. And the location is good for those relying on the subway. But I would avoid it anyway.

Hyatt’s hotels in the city have rates that are all over the place nowadays. $120-$750+ for say tonight. But then not sure how many of these properties nowadays have those scam “destination”/resort”/whatever fees on top of the displayed rate and taxes. The Grand at Grand Central has a $30+ nightly scam fee. If using points, the OP may want to find a friendly Globalist who will accept a points transfer and do a Guest of Honor booking to get around the scam fee and even get breakfast added in.

When young kids are involved, probably want to consider what the breakfast situation is like at the hotel.
