I have test results from the day of the flight (and day prior)... but not really a doctor's directed note. Looking to make fairly reasonable claim for extended 5 nites in an Airbnb (when I tested negative for flying) and rebooking of flights. All expenses were on my CSR (accommodations and flights).
Any thoughts if Chase would honor a claim here?
I had a similar situation recently. I tested positive for COVID-19 in Turkey the night before departing to Ethiopia.
CSR Trip Interruption insurance covered me for the cost of my cancelled non-refundable hotel in Ethiopia, but not for the additional 5 nights at the JW Marriott in Ankara. All they required was a copy of the original booking showing the cancellation deadline, proof that I actually cancelled it (screenshot) and a copy of my positive COVID test.
