I agree that the current format is an awful design.
An expample:

Kelowna - Cancun 1x weekly 1x Fri Jan 24, 2022 - Feb 20, 2022

The best I can tell this flight operates on Friday between Jan 24 & Feb. 20.
Except neither Jan 24 or Feb. 20 are Fridays.
Sure the information posted is correct. But it's a strange format.
