I am considering Maldives in April for a stay on points (2 adults + 2 young children).
So far the shortlist is JW Marriott, St. Regis or maybe Westin Maldives.

A little bit worried with the dining prices though, they seem high, and obvious lack of alternatives.

I can see that they all had half/full-board cash rates, but on points it is only the room/villa.

Do you know if it is possible to buy half-board or full-board packages with the hotels above on arrival? any other alternative?
