No apology for bumping (everyone always apologises ) - Now that one can't pay BA by cheque (yes I know - I'm the only person in the world who minds), if I pay by debit card & the ticket is for someone else, ie I'm not travelling, is there any requirement to present the payment card at check in? I'm often asked for my BAAMEX on check in but have never used a debit card to pay BA.
