Once a Peak or Off Peak designation has been given a hotel or even a regional manager cannot change it’s designation as Peak, Off Peak, or Standard per Hyatts terms.
So say a weekend is designated Off Peak and a convention decides to book 50% of the hotel, those dates are still Off Peak and will remain Off Peak despite demand.
That’s the benefit to Hyatt.
