I've only stopped at the Indigo Tower Hill once. I got a really good deal last summer when their restaurant was closed for renovation. I think I must have got a upgrade as the room was one of the biggest I've ever had in central London. The nearby area is OK with a number of bars and restaurants nearby though being so close to the City, it's going to be a little quiet on weekends. Aldgate and Tower Hill underground (and DLR) stations.are aa few minutes walk away.
After more careful consideration, we decided to go with Hilton and booked the Conrad St. James. We wanted a king bed or something bigger than a double and with diamond we will get free breakfast, which saves more money so for now booked it on points and looking to swap out 2 points nights to our free night certificate when we get it later this year. If it wasn't for the bed situation, I probably would have been fine at Indigo
