I usually book aisle seats so I can get up and stretch frequently. Exception for me is if we're landing ANC during daylight hours, I sometimes take a window seat, my preference is on the right side of the plane. If you're lucky the weather will give you some great views, to include seeing Anchorage. My daughter and I love to ski at Alyeska and it was fun to see the lifts with her last summer during our approach.
