Indigo Tower Bridge is a refurbished office block IIRC and it’s a decent enough hotel although the room sizes vary a fair bit based on the three times I’ve stayed.
Indigo Paddington which I quite like might be worth a look but again the room sizes vary wildly here.
On the last two occasions I’ve stayed in an IHG property in London I’ve stayed at HI Whitechapel which is a decent hotel but the area is a bit so-so.
Agree with what others have said re the Kensington Holiday Inns - avoid at all costs.
IHG in london is pretty poor nowadays and with the two Stratford properties bailing soon it’s only going to get worse.
Oh, I hadn't heard that the Stratford hotels were leaving IHG. That's a shame. I quite like the HI there as one of the more modern properties..
The HI Whitechapel is often one of the cheapest in central-ish London. The area may not be the nicest but I've always had friendly service there. With Crossrail finally arriving this year, the area should see some regeneration.
