Kudos for your extensive review.

What I really like about this property is, that whenever I am checking out (usually around 11 AM) people who have arrived from Schiphol Airport are checking in at the same time. The early time of day seems to be no problem AT ALL. Secondary, like you, I have received upgrades to an Executive Suite, which I think is such a great room. While I could stay for free with relatives, they won't be offering such a nice suite with such an overwhelming (included for gold/diamond) breakfast. :-)
