Thanks for that review, threepointkid. I think we had the same room as you when we stayed a few years ago. The hotel has a classic Caribbean ambience, like the hotels on Nevis, and while they have upgraded things like bathrooms it's not what most people here would regard as a luxury hotel. However, charmth and warmth is what the Caribbean is all about. Grenada is a lovely island and worth renting a motor for a day or two.
PS: Interesting that the hotel still has a 'Gary Rhodes' restaurant. A brilliant and influential cook 20 years ago, and often on TV with his trademark spikey hair, he's vanished from the culinary scene in the UK.
