Two questions - what was the bed size in your room, and were you the only one staying in the room?
I was the only one staying in the room and the bed was a full size bed. If what I got was an upgrade, then the front desk clerk did not mention it.

Also when I was booking in June, there was availability for the standard room for multiple days in the month of November.
