I'd encourage people to watch at least a few of his other videos before casting judgment. His channel is primarily showing people what life in Japan is like from a foreigner's point of view. In short, he is a 30 something year old male who moved to Japan to teach English and ended up staying.

agree that the majority of viewers (teens through thirties) won't be staying at the Andaz on a revenue booking, but I do think that the video will attract the young "new money" population (or children of old money). Some people on this discussion board may not be fond of that. FWIW, I'm a physician in my 30s and love his videos. They have me excited to visit Japan and I enjoy his dry sense of humor.
