At the beginning of the month in the EDI lounge I noticed they were advertising on the departure screens the ability to check in all day whatever your flight time. We had a 12;35 flight last week and a work call scheduled so arrived at 8:30 only to have to wait 45 minutes as check in isn’t open all the time. Was not impressed and to be honest I have never really found them the best at check-in at EDI. The lounge staff however were amazing and kept offering top ups of bubble and they use a proper size glass compared the ones at LHR :-)
