While I have no doubt these are introduced to cut costs, I will hold judgements on whether it actually cheapens the product until we actually see them. Sometimes name brands aren't always better, they were just here first and have better marketing. If Delta truly dug in deep to find quality products to replace the outgoing ones while also cutting costs by using lesser or unknown brands.. kudos to them. And if it means these return to the transcon D1 flight I'm booked on next month... even better.
