The new kits don't appear to have any zippers at all. I think Delta was implying that amenity kits are single use, and therefore eliminating the zipper reduces plastic waste. I'll reserve judgement until I handle one of the new kits, but the case itself appears to be less reusable than the current Tumi kits. Not to mention fewer amenities inside, too.
