I also wonder if this is why they've been only offering the PS ones in international D1 and nothing in transcon D1... the Tumi ones were out and they didn't want to order more.
But seriously, the removal of branded stuff is all about cost-cutting. These "innovative" no-name brands are just that; they don't command a premium price point and so Delta can get them cheaper.
No more Malin&Goetz, no more Le Labo, no more Tumi, no more Alessi, no more Westin, no more Coke-branded waters. I know some of those are really pointless anyways and don't make a difference. But don't call it "innovative" and expect us to not see it for what it really is. If Delta REALLY wanted to "go green" they would speed up trashing the CRJ200s.
