I saw this option the other day when looking through my Amex app and it gave me an idea to use this for creating spend on my Delta Plat Amex to waive the MQD requirement.

I know using your card to send someone $ does not earn any points, but has anyone tried this to spend the $25k required to waive the MQD requirement? I think it might work as it is still spend and money going on your monthly statements, but Amex could be smart and not allow these payments to count towards the $25k spend requirement.

Has anyone had any experience with at least trying this?
