The North Lounge is right beside north security and maybe be preferable, it is on the same level as security. when travelling with my father I would often use this lounge than the first lounge as it saved it lots of walking (especially before the first wing opened).

Getting to galleries south from either security would involve going down a level and then back up 2 (or is it 3) levels

Other than the gates A1 to A10ish, the the journey time to the gates will be a little longer from the north lounge than the south lounge,
