You could ask at check in or at the lounge if there us an indicative gate planned and if so then decide to go to a nearer lounge if necessary whilst keeping an eye out on the departure board for any changes.
there is a small chance it could be from gate a 10 (bus gate)

I'd be wary of that, especially if the OP is flying with somebody who needs that extra bit of time to move about. I flew yesterday with my OH from LIS; she was keeping an eye on the employee-only BA Ops Dashboard and she was saying that we were due to arrive at A6, which then became A9, then A13, then A7 and finally settled on A9 again if memory serves me right. All this during the flight.
