2 passengers arriving on a Saturday morning in February, around 7am. Needing to get from T5 to hotel in central London (somewhere near the London Eye).
Option 1: Can book 2, one-way HEX tickets for £33 (don't need return tickets), plus would then take a taxi to the hotel (another 15 pounds). I'd estimate an hour total travel time, and around £50.
Option 2: Uber is estimating around £40 for a ride at that time considering very light traffic, and time estimate would be 35-60 minutes (add on another 10 minutes to meet the driver).
I know there are other options (i.e. Tube). But for the 2 listed above, what would be the better method?
