During 2021, I noticed that Chase/BA were processing the reporting of Avios (as well as the 241 vouchers) in batches, so the date the Avios show up in your BAEC account no longer bears a direct relationship to the statement date on your credit card. For example, both my spouse and I have Chase/BA cards. Both the Avios and the 241 vouchers show up on the same date in both accounts, although the closing dates of the two cards are two weeks apart. I often don't see the Avios until a month after my card closing date. This was not the case in 2020.
