I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of Jan - booked points and then used a TSU to get into their oceanfront suite.

While the room is very nice, light fixtures were in annoying places and details were lacking. I also found the F&B options to be very light, particularly room service for a hotel of this calendar.

While I'll gladly burn points for a stay here, I would struggle to pay the $2k rate per night for the room - there are far more interesting hotels at that price point on a beach (albeit not in San Diego).
