I'm sure some of you have encountered this issue.

I'm trying to use my IHG free night but the date I want is unavailable but if I try to book with points for two night(starting the date I want) it works.

For ex.

I want to use my free night on 2/1-2/2 but it's saying unavailable but I can book from 2/1-2/3 using regular points.(shouldn't it say 2/1 is unavailable?)

Is there any way around this like call IHG and try to book it manually? I don't understand how 1 night isn't available but 2 nights are available with regular points stay.
